According to the American Lung Association and Healthline There are 3 basic steps we can take to  help us to improve the quality of air we get into our lungs. 1) Quit smoking.  2) Stay on top of your yearly medical exams.  3) Clean dust and pet hair. A lot of people live with pets and the combination of pet hair and dust in the air we breathe might affect our lungs. Here are some warning signs in which it is recommended to visit a doctor:

1) If you have a persistent cough that doesn’t go away.

2) Tightness of your chest

3) Wheezing

4) Shortness of breath.
