As we approach this year’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), it’s important to stay informed about the changes coming to Medicare. At West Compass Insurance, our mission is to provide you with clear, accurate information so you can navigate these updates confidently. One significant change to be aware of is the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which will start influencing plans on January 1, 2025. To help you prepare, we’ve outlined three essential steps to take during this year’s AEP.

  1. Help Us Tailor Your Medicare Plan: Complete Our Assessment Survey
In the coming days, you’ll receive a survey from RetireFlo. This survey helps us gather the essential information we need to assist with your health insurance. It covers your prescriptions, doctors, and includes the annual Scope of Appointment (SOA) form required by CMS each year. By completing it, you’ll help us determine if your current Medicare plan still meets your needs or if adjustments are necessary.
  2. Attend a Virtual Town Hall Meeting
To help you better understand the upcoming changes, we’re hosting virtual Town Hall meetings. These sessions will explain what’s new this year in a straightforward, no-nonsense manner. We believe in providing you with the facts—no scare tactics, just clear and simple information. This is an excellent opportunity to get answers to any questions you might have about how the IRA and other changes could affect your Medicare coverage. RSVP for a Town Hall Meeting
  3. Schedule an Appointment for a Personalized Review
We’re dedicating the first two weeks of October to offer personalized plan reviews to ensure you’re on the best path forward. Whether you need to make changes to your plan or just want reassurance that everything is in order, we’re here to assist you. We’ll also continue to host community meetings to discuss the plan benefits for 2025 in more detail. Be sure to schedule your appointment early to secure a spot. Schedule an Appointment
