Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month takes place  in March.  In the US nearly 1 million people are living with Multiple Sclerosis. Its early detection can make a big difference among the people who suffer from it,  since  in many cases the early detection prevents the disease from developing and getting worse. In some cases it can even help to get a cure, allowing people to return their lives as they were before the disease was detected.

WebMD has a very comprehensive article where you can understand Late-Onset Multiple Sclerosis, which is a stage where the disease is detected after age 50 years or older. In this article they help us clarify about symptoms, diagnosis, progression and treatment.
